The basics
How GGbounty works
GGbounty is a real-money competitive gaming platform. There are two ways to play: 1v1 duels (winner takes the pot) and bounties (put a price on a target and let the community hunt them). Every payment runs through Stripe, and results are backed by proof and human verification.
1v1 Duels — winner takes all
A duel is a head-to-head match with real stakes. Both players put in the same amount; the winner walks away with the whole pot.
- Create a duel. Choose your game, region, rules, and stake (e.g. €20). Pick an open challenge (posted on the 1v1 board for anyone to accept) or a private link to send to a specific opponent.
- Both players stake. You pay your stake plus a 5% service fee at creation. Your opponent matches the stake to accept. Both amounts are held securely.
- Play the match. Settle it in-game by the rules you set, and record it in case of a dispute.
- Report and get paid. Each player reports the result. If you agree, the winner is paid the full pot instantly and gains ELO. If you disagree, an admin reviews the evidence and rules on it.
Example: you stake €20, your opponent stakes €20, and the winner takes €40.
Bounties — put a price on a rival
A bounty is a contract on a specific in-game target. You fund a reward; any hunter can complete the objective, submit proof, and claim it.
- Post a bounty. Name the target (their in-game handle), the game, and the reward. You pay the reward + a 5% fee via Stripe.
- Hunters compete. Anyone can take the contract, beat the target, and submit a clip or match ID as proof.
- You verify and pay. You review the proof and approve the winner, who receives the full reward and climbs the leaderboard.
Ranks, titles, and the leaderboard
Every win moves your ELO, which decides your rank — from Rookie all the way to Predator. Completing challenges unlocks titles you can display on your profile, and the global leaderboard ranks the best players.
Fair play and disputes
Results are backed by proof (clips, match IDs) and confirmed by the people involved. When there is a disagreement — a contested claim or conflicting duel reports — it goes to an admin who reviews the evidence and makes the final call. Cheating, smurfing against the agreed rules, or abuse can get an account banned.
